To help control the spread of COVID-19, Dayton Metro Library has modified some services and policies. Thank you for helping us stop the spread of the coronavirus. We look forward to resuming our normal operations and policies in the future.
Here are some of the changes you can expect at your next visit to the Library.
Limited Hours, All Locations Open: Tuesday - Saturday, 10 am - 6 pm | Closed: Sunday - Monday
Effective November 10, 2020, masks covering the nose and mouth are required at all times while inside the Library (age 6 and older). If you are unable to wear a mask for any reason, please use our extensive online, phone and/or Curbside Services.
*DML follows the City of Dayton mask mandate requiring children 6 and older to wear a mask.
Reserve items you want using our online catalog, or call the Ask Me Line at 937.463.2665 for assistance. You will be notified when your items are ready to be borrowed. At that time, call the Library to make arrangements for Curbside Service, or use the convenient DML App on your phone or device. Bagged materials are placed directly into vehicle trunks.*

Make arrangements for picking up your requested materials - without having to call. If you already have the DML app installed on your phone or device, My Curbside Pickup is activated when you have materials ready for you to borrow. If you need to install the app, search for “Dayton Library” in the App Store, Google Play or Kindle.
*At some Branch Libraries you may have to park and exit your car to pick up your bagged materials at the Library entrance.

In addition to picking up Library materials you’ve requested, Curbside Service now includes copying, faxing and scanning.
