Time, Talent and Treasure
The Library Foundation meets approximately six times each year to provide strategic direction and assist with the execution of a comprehensive action plan. Directors serve on at least one committee and are elected for a three year term. Additionally, all Directors financially support the initiatives and priorities of the Foundation, either directly or indirectly, at a level that is comfortable for each individual’s situation.
Perhaps the most significant contribution of each Foundation Director is demonstrated through "Ambassadorship," sharing the Library's transformation story and generating increased awareness of the Library's important, sustaining and educational role in the community. The Directors are highly-qualified and dynamic community leaders who infuse the Foundation with caring guidance to ensure the Library sustains excellence through future funding fluctuations and continues to serve the community while encouraging innovation.
